Dear Brethren,          

History of Chandigarh Freemasons Hall, and Masonic Fraternity, Chandigarh-II.

Vide letter Dt 04.09.1957, W Bro Justice Shamsher Bahadur of District Grand Lodge of England & Wales applied for 4 kanals of land for construction of “Freemasons Hall”, Chandigarh. This request was forwarded by the estate officer to Government of Punjab and was accepted by the Government Punjab, Capital Project Chandigarh and approval was communicated to Estate Officer, Capital Project, Chandigarh vide memo no 14243-59 / IX / 1052 Dt 1st February 1960. Estate Officer communicated the allotment of plot for to Justice Shamsher Bahadur vide letter No 78 Dt 9-2-1960 as under;

“..request for allotment of 4 kanal of land for the construction of Freemasons Hall can be considered provided the Association agrees to pay the price at residential rates. If this is acceptable, kindly deposit a sum of Rs 1000.00 as earnest money so that Chief Architect and Chief Town Planner may be asked to suggest a suitable site measuring 4 Kanal. “

                                                      

The allotment at residential rates were not acceptable. Representations were made to Governor & Chief Minister Punjab on the basis that plot of land was required for use of freemasons which are a ‘charitable’ and religious society. Accordingly an undertaking was sought that land will be used for freemasons Lodge. The final allotment letter No 3505 Dt 10.4.1970 issued by Estate Officer was issued in favor of “Freemasons Lodge” for the purpose of “Lodge Building”. It reads:-

“Sir,

Reference your letter No Nil, Dt 11.3.1970. A site measuring approx 2000 sq yards in sector 18-B is hereby allotted to “Secretary Freemasons Lodge For the purpose of Lodge Building i.e. Free masons Hall” at the following rate i.e. Rs 6 per sq yards for 1st acre and subsequently @ Rs 4 per sq yards.

……..

3.     The building constructed thereon shall be dedicated to LODGE PURPOSE and shall not remain sole property of the donor or to be converted by them later to any personal use.”

(As against the residential rate of Rs 36/- per sq yard. Land was allotted by Admn under Religious /cultural category at concessional rate of Rs 6/- per square yard.)

1.     Last extensive renovation of building was done by KD Aggarwal in October 2005 at his personal cost of more than Rs 70,000/- at that time.

A.     During the tenure of the then Chief Justice WB A B Saharya, a false attempt was made to for conveyance deed & the society registration. Membership was kept at Rs 5,000/-. (Rs 3000 for senior freemasons). There were more than 200 active members under GLI and another 200 under Grand Lodge of England & Wales. Sh CPS Sahni collected the fee @ Rs 5000 / 3000. According to him more than 80 persons had become members and had paid him total sum of more than Rs 3,60,000/-. No separate bank account was opened. After collecting money the matter was closed. Now there are only about 40 active freemasons under GLI many from Simla & 100 under GLEW.

B.     CPS Sahni & V K Rampal got Rs 100,000/- from GLI in name of Masonic vocational training centre. Computers were called on rent for a day and by the morning after encashment of cheque all trace of Masonic vocational training centre had vanished. Only a plate exists which says about Masonic Vocational training center. Charity begins at home, it can only be assumed that on both the occasions CPS Sahni & V K Rampal had used Masonic funds on their wives.

2.     After election of Justice Davinder Gupta as GMI, a formal get together was arranged at Chandigarh on 21.1.06. As WM of lodge 283, KD Aggarwal was told to pay for dinner which will be contributory on behalf of all Lodges. More than 100 freemasons got together from New Delhi, Yamuna Nagar, Ludhiana, Ambala, Simla etc. KD Aggarwal settled the Bill of Rs 28,000/- out of own pocket. Only Chandigarh lodge (Rs 2000), Kalka Lodge Rs 3000/-, contributed. Inspite of being WM, It was with difficulty that KD Aggarwal could get a cheque of Rs 5000 from lodge 283 from V K Rampal. There is still huge shortfall for dinner of Rs 18,000/-. V K Rampal alone used to operate Bank A/C of Lodge 283-Mountshivalik maintained at Pb State Co-op Bank sector 20, A/C No 20272 from 1991 to January 2008 and would never give any accounts. KD Aggarwal was only secretary who published lodge accounts in monthly lodge summons.

3.     Time & again money was collected in name of conveyance deed and pocketed. KD Aggarwal loaned his own funds to Freemasons at Chandigarh for conveyance Deed (Rs 150000) and registration of Society and framing of bye laws (Rs 25000). The conveyance was registered on 7.11.2007 & Certificate of Registration of Society was received on 14.11.2007. Author had arranged the meeting Dt 25.8.2007 with RGMNI, Past RGMNI, Secretary RGLNI for the formation of Fraternity. Prior to said meeting KD Aggarwal constantly received calls from S Krishnan RGMNI regarding the afore said meetings. Considering that most of the present day freemasons are poor and themselves in most need for charity, Life membership fee was kept nominally at Rs 250 per member per lodge. In all only about 40-50 were able to pay this amount. The amount was deposited in the separate bank account No 398902011022865 with Union Bank of India, Sector 21C Chandigarh. R K Banta, Satish John and S P Bedi are the authorised signatories to operate said bank account. KD Aggarwal is not authorised signatory to bank account. Whenever there was not enough money to pay electricity & water charges or property tax then, KD Aggarwal would pay from his pocket / personal account.

C.     In 2009-10 again, CPS Sahni and VK Rampal have received substantial amount from GLI name of society. We know where it will go.

D.     VK Rampal is treasurer of lodge 61 but never paid dues of GMLI or RGMLNI. When its members were asked to pay dues they stated that VK Rampal gave them option of either paying Rs 600 as lodge dues or giving their vote to him. They opted for later. KD Aggarwal as WMM regularly paid dues of GMLI and RGMLNI and they are paid Dec 2007 to June 2009.

E.     Masonic Polyclinic is paying Rs 100 per hour to Subash for working as water boy. Whereas Dr V K Rampal is paying Rs 9 per hour to his compounder in exchange of giving him freemasons Hall as rent free, water & electricity free to his staff.

F.      Dr. VK Rampal had purchased a disputed house @ half the market rate. In lower court, DRT, & at Simla High Court he enjoyed free services from ‘brotherhood’ thus deriving pecuniary benefit of Freemasonry.

G.     Brethren are aware of sale of Freemasons Hall, Kasuali which was paid by District Grand Lodge of England & Wales. One of the brethren involved therein was then AGM of India. He took away the original file including the original Conveyance Deed on the pretext of meeting with Advisor who was stated to be his class fellow. He never met the advisor and also did not return the file.

H.     On 27.4.08, KD Aggarwal convened meeting of biggest Lodge at Chandigarh for the purpose of collective renovation of building. Brethren present therein stated that Ashwani Gupta never asked them for Building renovation but gave their wives gifts, free food/dinner. Whereas in exchange of Rs 250 I have not given their wives any gift or food/Dinners.  Dr. VK Rampal said that laws of law should be amended & Chairman should give free food to wives in exchange for votes.

Members of Grand Lodge of England and wales were not allowed into Fraternity though they were as much freemasons of Chandigarh as anyone else. In 2008-09, KD Aggarwal realized that Freemasonry in general and Chandigarh Freemasonry in particular is not charitable but an organization where greed for power and money overrides humanitarian considerations. KD Aggarwal resigned from lodge 283 in May ‘08 and from Chairmanship of Freemasons Fraternity Chandigarh and all remaining lodges from November 1st 2009.

Who was responsible for Decolonization / Freedom of India (and 100+ 3rd World Countries) – Adolf Hitler, Subash Chander Bose or Mohandas K Gandhi.

As India enters 65^th year of its ‘independence’ from Britain, it is time to pause and reflect as what caused 300 years old British Empire to dissolve and crumble within 20 years of the end of World War 2.

Who can be called father of India or 100+ Third World Countries or De-Colonization?

Lies being taught;

Congress Party under leadership of Mohandasss Gandhi and Jawahar Lal Nehru by their non violent Quit India movement got India its Independence.

 Now the truth;

Let us examine the role of Neville Chamberlain, Winston Churchill and Adolf Hitler or Clement Atlee, in India’s freedom in the light of events preceding Indian Independence in 1947;

Under World War 2 Treaty of Versailles, Germany was cut in several pieces and gifted to other nations. Since 1935, some of these several pieces i.e. Saar region, Rhineland, Austria, Sudetenland by the movements of their own citizens gradually rejoined their fatherland – Germany without a single shot being fired.

Danzig and German Corridor was last of such places with 98% German Population. From March 1939, Poland began programme of extermination of Germans in this city and murdered more than 45,000 Germans. On August 10, 1939;  Albert Forster, Gauleiter for Danzig, addressed a crowd of 100,000 in Danzig and invited Adolf Hitler to free them from tyranny of Polish communists. On August 25, 1939, Germany asks for plebiscite in this area to allow Freedom to people of this city to choose their own destiny. Poland/England refused to allow Plebiscite or freedom to people to choose their own destiny. On September 1, 1939, Germany enters German city Dangiz (under illegal Polish Possession) to protect German citizens from further massacre. After end of 6 years, 72 million had died, Europe and Britain lay in ruins and communist Russia took over half of Europe including Poland and that small German city of Danzig (part of Germany in 1918 whose citizens were denied Freedom by England) over which England and France declared War on Germany thus beginning World War 2. Neville chamberlain refused to allow plebiscite in Danzig and declared war on Germany, Winston Churchill twice declined peace offer by Hitler once when Germany allowed besieged English forces to escape from Dunkirk and second when France fell. World War 2 or Churchill's / Hitler’s war;

Even if Indians had wanted England to stay and built remaining railways, airports, dams, roads, bridges laying down of electric cables and water pipes etc (which incidentally have not been built even after 60 years by corrupt Congress regime - but blueprints prepared by English are still available), Britain would have left India in 1947 purely for its own military and economic insolvency back home.

Before Hitler, England and France had attacked and enslaved more than 100 countries and 100s of billions of its citizens in Africa, Asia, America including Canada, and Australia, New Zealand etc. England and France were like a big bully of your school snatching away candy of small children the 3rd world countries. America got its independence from England with the help of French Army. France helped because of contest with England and France over world domination. In 1939, Before WW-2, Britain occupied 25% of total land area on earth and 25% of world population.

Then came Hitler. Son of a customs official it took tremendous ability to rise from an obscure background of a corporal in 1919 to mastery of a nation in 1933 that had long been governed by aristocratic elites. And it took greater ability still to elevate that nation in a mere 5 years from demoralization and bankruptcy to mastery of a continent. England and France then attacked Germany. But this time they took on more than they could chew. France was overrun in a matter of 2 weeks; England lay in ruins and became insolvent. From a zero in 1933, Hitler took Germany to such heights by 1939 that it took the might of all powers America, Britain, China, Russia, France and 116 other nations etc to defeat Germany. His defeat was mainly due because his enemies (US, USSR, England, France, China and 116 other nations) had far more resources to prevail. Adolf didn't. Hitler had also banned atomic and chemical weapons. See here for details.

Within 20 years of the end of WW2 Britain was back to its small hole in Atlantic. After WWII, Britain left not only India but nearly all its other holdings, including Jordan in 1946, Palestine in 1947, Sri Lanka in 1948, Myanmar in 1948, and Egypt in 1952 and 50 other nations within years thereafter. For the same reason, France also had to grant independence to Laos in 1949 and Cambodia in 1953, and had to leave Vietnam in 1954 and other 30 nations within years thereafter. None of the other nations whether under England or French Colonialism had Mohandass K Gandhi, or Subash Chander Bose yet all countries got their independence.

Hitler thus takes the credit for an action that freed 100+ countries and billions of people from slavery and tyranny of Britain and France. Every one of these countries had their own freedom fighters, People like Subash Chander Bose, Bhagat Singh, Chander Shekhar Azad, Gandhi etc but they were only ‘also ran’ category and were not critical or even main players in Independence of 100+ nations.

Thanks to Hitler, those 100+ nations who were like small children whose candies were being snatched by big bullies like England and France for their desire of world domination got their freedom from these tyrants. Has any other person does so much for freedom of the 100s of the billions of the humans of world?

In fact if the Second World War had not taken place; England may have never left India. Maybe the 21^st century would have dawned with England still owning its colonies and sun never setting on English empire. But for Hitler several billion people in 70+ colonies of England might still be singing ‘God Save the Queen’. This is not an airy statement but one very plausible. The credit for reducing Great Britain to this dire strait thus must go to Hitler who financially and militarily destroyed England, where holding on to colonies became impossible or impracticable. The following are the details of destruction and losses suffered by England because of Hitler;

Military losses;

England suffered loss of approx 5,000,000 men (including civilians), several million more lay injured and incapacitated or disabled. It affected almost 8% of entire population on England before start of war. Its naval supremacy came to no use. Air supremacy ruled. Most of its cities and industries lay in ruins. In India, England had greatly inducted Hindus in its army for use in World War 2. Now the Hindus had nowhere else to fight. They greatly outnumbered English force. The strength of Hindus in the English army had increased from 200,000 to 2,500,000 Hindus. England manpower stood at same levels at less than 70,000 men. For England to maintain its hold over India it required at least one Englishman against three locals. They required 800,000 more men. England had no more forces to commit, rather it required its own manpower back in England to rebuild it as most of its cities and industries lay in ruins.

Economic conditions;

Within 1 year of war, England had spent all it gold and dollar reserves. England’s Treasury was empty. During the war it was dependent on lend lease from United States which US ended after War on September 2^nd, 1945. Under the lend lease, a total of $31.4 billion (at 1939 prices) aid was given by US to Britain, Now it may be worth 100 billion.  In the 1945 General Election Attlee led the Labor Party to triumph at the polls. People of England had realized that Winston Churchill was a war monger and for his personal excitement in seeing death had led them to an unnecessary war, (http://lovkap.blogspot.com/2011/07/winston-churchill-quotes.html),  killing 72 million including 500,000 of its own citizens. People of England were angry with huge extravaganza of war over a small German city of Danzig and horrendous conclusions when Danzig along with whole of Poland and half of Europe was gifted to arch enemy Russia. England became insolvent. England begged more funds from Washington. To stave off Insolvency of England, US provided a low interest loan of $3.75 billion in 1946, followed by Marshall Plan ("European Recovery Program") grants of $3 billion (which was 25% of total plan outlay under Marshall Plan). It had no money to pay for large Indian workforce of several million. Both the manpower and money were essentially needed at home to rebuild its destroyed cities and industries.

Food shortages;

England suffered food shortages. Food rationing was introduced. In 1945 rationing levels were (All figures per person per week); Bacon & Ham was limited to 113 g, sugar 227 g, tea 57 g, meat 57 g, cheese 28 g, butter 57 g, sweets 340 g even biscuits and cereals all rationed. Food rationing increased after the War. Bread, was rationed from 1946 to 1948; potato rationing began in 1947.

Reason for Independence as given during debate in England’s House of Commons;

“We have recruited our workers for the war; they have been demobilized after the war. They are required to repair the factories damaged by Hitler’s bombers. Moreover, they want to join their kith and kin after five and a half years of separation. Their kith and kin also want to join them. In these conditions if we have to rule India for a long time, we have to keep a permanent British army for a long time in a vast country of four hundred millions. We have no such army….” Sir Stafford Cripps, intervening in the debate on the motion to grant Indian Independence in the British House of Commons in 1947 quoted in ‘The Freedom Struggle and the Dravidian Movement’ by P. Ramamurti, Orient Longman, 1987.

Role of Subash Chander Bose in India’s freedom;

Many of my friends have called for role of Subash Chander Bose. Their arguments are ; Gandhi, launched the “Quit India” movement in August 1942, demanding the immediate withdrawal of the British from India or face nationwide civil disobedience. Along with all other Congress leaders, Gandhi was immediately imprisoned, and the country erupted in small violent demonstrations. The large war- time British Army presence in India led to most of the movement being crushed in a little more than six weeks;

With Congress leaders in jail after quit India movement, attention turned to Subhas Bose, who had been ousted from the Congress in 1939 Bose turned to the Axis powers for help with liberating India by force. With Japanese support, he organized the Indian National Army, composed largely of Indian soldiers of the British Indian army who had been captured at Singapore by the Japanese. Provisional Government of Azad Hind (Free India), presided by Bose, was short lived; after the reverses of 1944, the reinforced British Indian Army in 1945 first halted and then reversed the Japanese offensive, beginning the successful part of the Burma Campaign. Bose's Indian National Army surrendered with the recapture of Singapore. 

When Japan Surrendered, the British charged 20,000 men with treason. They decided to hold the Trial in Public at the red fort in Delhi. The first three of Bose's men to be charged were a Hindu, a Muslim and a Sikh. On November 21 and 23, 1945 a mass demonstration took place in Kolkota (Calcutta). Police shot more than 200 people of whom 33 died. Then the British decided to put on trial only those men INA men who were charged with committing murder or brutality against other POW's. However, Kolkata (Calcutta) simply exploded when in February 1946, Abdul Rashid Khan of INA was given seven years imprisonment for murder. Unrest began with Muslims and soon joined by students. Both the Police and Army were called to put down the 'almost revolution'. This time nearly 400 hundred people were shot down out of whom nearly 100 were killed. Khan's trial gave thousands of Indian's an excuse to revolt. revolt started with Sailor's mutiny it spread from Karachi to Bombay and from Vizag to Calcutta involving 78 ships, 20 shore establishments and 20,000 men/sailors. British forbade BBC from broadcasting the revolt.  

This sailor's revolt / mutiny spurred the new Labour government in Britain to action, leading to the Cabinet Mission to India led by the Secretary of State for India, Lord Pethick Lawrence, including Sir Stafford Cripps, who had visited four years earlier. The Labour government in Britain, its cities at home in ruins, its exchequer insolvent by World War II, and conscious that it did not have the mandate at home, decided to end British rule of India, and in early 1947 Britain announced its intention of transferring power no later than June 1948.

Points to ponder:

With all respect to people of India and particularly to those of Bengal I have a few questions?

1. INA (Indian national Army) was made up of Indian POWS captured by Japan in WW2, If there was no WW2 there would have been no INA.

2.  If Japan was not at war with England in WW2, Japan would not have supported INA?

3.     If there was no INA, there would be no trials. No trials - No mutiny - No riots.

4.     WW2 strength of natives in English army would have remained at 200,000 and ratio unaffected.
Even Subash Chander Bose knew that Key to billions of people around the World from tyranny of England and France lay with Adolf Hitler, and so he decided to meet him.

So we go back to answering the question - what led to India’s and 100 other countries to freedom within 20 years of end of World War 2 and financial and military destruction of England in World War 2? There is only one Answer - Adolf Hitler or Neville Chamberlain who declared World war-2 or Winston Churchill who twice refused cease fire / peace offer by Hitler.

Role of Mohandass K Gandhi In India’s freedom;

Gandhi and the Congress Party opted for a “Quit India Movement” against the British in 1942 and he spread the slogan “Do or Die,” which in fact Subhas Chander Bose had proposed in 1938. The British government arrested all the top Congress Party leaders. The movement fizzled out entirely within a matter of six weeks. In fact as they had hanged Bhagat Singh they could have easily done away with Gandhi or imprisoned him in a far away island like they imprisoned Napoleon at St. Helena in the South Atlantic. British had propped up Gandhi for harmless fun secure in their knowledge that its non-violent movement had no effect on them.

Chief Justice P.B. Chakrabarty of Calcutta High Court, who had also served as the acting Governor of West Bengal in India, disclosed the following in a letter addressed to the publisher of Dr. R.C. Majumdar’s book A History of Bengal:

“You have fulfilled a noble task by persuading Dr. Majumdar to write this history of Bengal and publishing it … In the preface of the book Dr. Majumdar has written that he could not accept the thesis that Indian independence was brought about solely or predominantly by the non-violent civil disobedience movement of Gandhi. When I was the acting Governor, Lord Atlee, who had given us independence by withdrawing the British rule from India, spent two days in the Governor’s palace at Calcutta during his tour of India. At that time I had a prolonged discussion with him regarding the real factors that had led the British to quit India. My direct question to him was that since Gandhi’s “Quit India” movement had tapered off quite some time ago and in 1947 no such new compelling situation had arisen that would necessitate a hasty British departure, why did they have to leave? In his reply Atlee cited several reasons, the principal among them being the erosion of loyalty to the British Crown among the Indian army and navy personnel as a result of the military activities of Netaji [Subhash Chandra Bose]. Toward the end of our discussion, I asked Atlee what was the extent of Gandhi’s influence upon the British decision, to quit India? Hearing this question, Atlee's lips became twisted in a sarcastic smile, as he slowly chewed out the word, "m-i-n-i-m-a-l!" ”

It was Clement Atlee’s training as Political Diplomat that he did not use the word “n-o-n-e”.

In Part-I of Article on Kashmir I had given History of Kashmir from 1846 to 1985. 

In Part II, I had given secret history of violence in Kashmir from 1985 till date.

Present article – Part III, the final article in the series explores the solution to continued violence in Kashmir;

As of August 07, 2011, India administers approximately 43% of the region, including most of Jammu, part of Kashmir Valley, Ladakh, and the Siachen Glacier. Pakistan controls approximately 37% of state, namely part of Kashmir which it calls Azad Kashmir and the northern areas of Gilgit and Baltistan. China controls 20% of Kashmir, including Aksai Chin, which it occupied following the brief Sino-Indian War of 1962, and the Trans-Karakoram Tract (also known as the Shaksam Valley), which was ceded by Pakistan to china in 1963.

Leh, ladakh and Siachen areas constitutes about 65% of Indian Administered area. Its population is predominantly Buddhist or non-converts. 

Jammu constitutes about 20% of total Indian administered state of Jammu and Kashmir which is predominantly non-converts dominated.

Kashmir valley constitutes about 15% of Indian administered Area i.e. approx 7% of total area. Kashmir alone is Muslim converts dominated area.  about 4,00,000 non converts have been exterminated from Kashmir since 1989, these non converts are now living in camps all over India.

The future – Solution to Kashmir Problem;

Option A, as desired by all Indians;

If those in the polity of power genuinely believe that Kashmir is part of India and that converts (Hindu-Muslims) in Kashmir do not account for more than the number of Converts in any other part of India than THE ONLY OPTION is to remove Article 370 and merge Kashmir fully into Indian heartland thus depriving People of Kashmiris the reason to say that they are not part of India. Let Non-Kashmiri Hindus buy land and settle in Kashmir and real estate companies like DLP, Unitech, Omaxe, and financiers of Punjab and Delhi develop Kashmir and thereafter plebiscite can be held there any time after 20-30 years when the constituents of Kashmir have undergone a sea change.  Had the leaders of Congress party thought and acted like Indians, the problem would have ended 30 years earlier. With tons of money in their pockets given by financiers, many Muslims will prefer greener pastures in Karachi, NWFP, Islamabad, etc where there is no “oppression” of Muslims.

Option B;

Integrate jammu, Leh ladakh with India, Free POK and IOK.

Option C; Classified.

India can ill afford continued death of its citizens and continued expenditure on Kashmir which is taking away meager resources of Indian Public. The same money can be spent on providing clean drinking water and electricity to every home and high school, health center in every village, college, University made available for every Child every few kilometers in India.

Lies being taught;

Kashmiri Muslims have been persecuted for years under Hindu Kings and Indian domination. They have been fighting lone battle for their independence from oppressive Indian rule.

Secret History or the reasons for present violence;

There had been no violence or terrorism in Kashmir up till the year 1985. However the status quo of peace changed when after March 1985, when US government adopted National Security Decision Directive (NSDD) 166, to fight proxy war against Russia and to drive it out of Afghanistan by using mujahedeen/Taliban now called Al Qaeda.

When they are with us they are called Mujahedin, when they are opposite us the same people are called Al-Qaeda.   Listen to this funny story, the Russians invaded Afghanistan because they didn't want this group called the Taliban to take over the government in Afghanistan. Then the Americans secretly supported the TALIBAN that opposed the Russian forces. And now US are fighting wars against the Taliban to prevent it from taking over the Government in Afghanistan.

Under instructions from Director of Central Intelligence William Casey, the CIA initiated programs for training Afghans in techniques such as guerrilla warfare, kidnappings, armed conflict, assassinations, car bombs, and cross-border raids (into the USSR). CIA poured in billions of US dollars, modern weapons including stinger missiles to prop up Taliban to fight its war against Russia. To take the war into Russia, CIA also trained Taliban to infiltrate and engage in subversive activities inside Russia.

"The United States spent millions of dollars to supply Afghan schoolchildren with textbooks filled with violent images and militant Islamic teachings ....The primers, which were filled with talk of jihad and featured drawings of guns, bullets, soldiers and mines, have served since then as the Afghan school system's core curriculum. Even the Taliban used the American-produced books,..", (Washington Post, 23 March 2002)

"Advertisements, paid for from CIA funds, were placed in newspapers and newsletters around the world offering inducements and motivations to join the [Islamic] Jihad." (Pervez  Hoodbhoy, Peace Research, 1 May 2005)

Same books and literature were subsequently used by Pakistan to foment violence in India particularly in Kashmir. All Attacks in India like 26/11, Parliament attacks or Akshardham temple attack etc were induced by these hateful teachings initiated by US.

US and Britain used Pakistan for its proxy war against Russia and imported huge amount of modern weapons into Pakistan for transmission into Afghanistan. A large part of these weapons / modern armaments were diverted by Pakistan's ISI and Special Service Group (SSG) to promote insurgency in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Hence while there was no violence in Kashmir till 1985, the status quo changed in 1986 when first shots were fired by Pakistani guerrillas who had taken to armaments against Hindus. In January 1986, massive riots occurred in Anantnag (Southern Kashmir), in which the minority community (Pandits) lost nearly 300 homes and two temples were burnt down.

When Russia was finally driven out of Afghanistan in 1989, large number of highly trained terrorists with huge cache of modern arms suddenly found themselves without a cause, without a job and without any money or aid from US. They knew nothing except how to infiltrate and kill. These men were solely trained in terrorism. Pakistan then sent these highly trained terrorists / mujahedin in Kashmir, where propagated that there was a similar freedom movement of Kashmiri’s Muslims against Indian (Hindu) “occupation and control”.

Since 1989, the level of persecution of Hindus increased manifold. The killings, rape and plunder of Kashmiri Hindus started in earnest with the death of a prominent social worker in Srinagar on September 14, 1989, now recognized as the "Martyrs? Day". Starting with prominent citizens in the valley, including political leaders and government officials, the killings became increasingly random and gruesome. On April 6, 1990, Mrs. Girja Tikoo, a housewife in Kupwara district of Kashmir, was gang raped by Islamic militants and then cut into pieces by a wood saw. The Financial Times of London in a story from Srinagar dated April 1, 1992, described the agony of a Hindu family in Srinagar that gave food and shelter to two armed Muslim terrorists who initially promised no harm, but raped the women folk and killed the family any way.

Over ten thousand Kashmiri Pandits, which represent a significant proportion of their population, were killed by Islamic militants in nearly a two year period. The militants had a clear motive to drive non-Muslim "infidels" out of the State to create the Nizam-e-Mustafa (Muslim paradise), and it was not unusual to see posters and announcements asking Pundits to leave the valley. Nearly all of the Kashmiri Pundits, who were lucky to escape from the terror, did so starting from January 1990. Today, practically the entire indigenous population of Kashmiri Pundits is displaced and living in wretched make-shift refugee camps in North India. The statistics do not do full justice to their misery. A total of 72,077 families, were driven out due to ethnic cleansing. 9309 homes have been burnt down, along with 1659 small business shops. A total of 93 temples, 27 Mosques and 2 Sikh Gurudwaras were destroyed in during the period 1986-1997. Today, nearly 50,000 families are living in refugee camps, with approximately 60% camped in Jammu region and the rest in Delhi region. The total number of Kashmiri Pundits refugees (216,820 in Jammu and 143,565 in New Delhi for a total of 360,385). No one seems to care about the fate of Kashmiri Pundits.

There are continuing attacks on villages harboring Pundits in the valley and many Pundits, along with Sikhs and Muslims, have lost their lives. A particularly gruesome massacre took place in Wandhama on the night of January 25, 1998, when the entire population of Kashmiri Hindus; men, women and children; was wiped out by Islamic terrorists. While not a single Muslim was harmed, the terrorists systematically locked Kashmiri Pundits in their homes that were subsequently torched. The choice given to these unfortunate victims was either to be burnt alive or to bail out and be cut down by AK-47s. In the mayhem 23 Pundits lost their lives. Such brutality continues up to this day and will not cease as long as terrorists roam freely in Kashmir.

It should be noted that in spite of brutality and humiliation that Pundits have suffered in the past two decades, NOT ONE case exists where a Kashmiri Pundit has resorted to any violence in return. Kashmiri Pundits have paid a heavy price for their nonviolent and tolerant behavior.

Ms. Mary McGrory, a columnist for the Washington Post explained it this way (August 27, 1992): "Across the globe in Kashmir, blameless people are suffering hellish persecution not for anything they did but for being who they are. The Kashmiri Pundits, a minority Hindu sect that has lived in Kashmir for 5,000 years, would like to go home. They have been driven off their ancestral land by terrorism of Islamic guerrillas who wish to annex Kashmir to the crescent of fundamentalist countries in the area. India, which will do anything to keep Kashmir in its possession, has refused to acknowledge the existence of the Pundits in refugee camps along the border, because they do not want to add a religious element to the problem."

Pakistan government more or less agreed with the assessment that Kashmiri Pundits were victims of ethnic cleansing. In response to the McGrory?s column, Mr. Malik Zahoor Ahmad, the Press Attache in the Embassy of Pakistan wrote to the Post editor on August 28, 1992, "I was surprised to read that the Kashmiri refugees mentioned are the notorious Kashmiri Pundits who had wielded disproportionately excessive powers in the Kashmir valley and have now been driven out by the hitherto oppressed Kashmiri people."

In many ways, problems with the Pundits and the whole issue of religious fundamentalism in India, was fostered by the Congress Party which spoke of "secularism", but really meant appeasement towards a particular religion. The reasons were entirely parochial. The polling research showed that minorities tended to vote as a block, and as the Congress Party degenerated into a dynasty rule where corruption became rampant, the Party discovered a new way to keep itself in power. Obviously, in a multi-ethnic and a multi-religious country, such a move was bound to lead to some reaction, and it did. India has done poorly in debating nationalism in public. And the vote bank politics, invented by the Congress Party and used even more voraciously by successor governments, has done more harm to Indian polity than any other single development in the history of this budding nation.

Let us not fool ourselves. The wealth, freedom and liberty of the American people are being stolen and steadily nibbled away. Today, as easy suckers, we are buying many overpriced, political "benefits," all paid for, of course, with our own hard-earned money!

We have also been goaded into trying to run the affairs of other nations which yield a fine profit for the world money powers who are in the know on credits and markets. Whether you realize it or not, that has all been planned for you in just that way.

Furthermore, our land has been and is being flooded with vast numbers of "image making" books, carefully written about numerous important citizens in public life, which aim to further certain long range international policies.

False images and "managed news," however, will soon lead to the destruction of a free people, if we allow it. "We" means you and me. It is for you, primarily, that this book has been written.

There are those, no doubt, who may disagree with some observations that appear in this book. That is quite all right with me. However, by all means let such a voice come forward suitably, not to disagree and not to disprove, but to improve! My only request is that the well known "smear technique," so frequently employed as an argument, be replaced with facts, not by smears that approach blackmail handed out by anyone, including some well paid columnists. I do not plan to retreat.

Well do I recall a meaningful observation - "It is better to light one small candle in a dark room than to live forever in the dark!"

I hope this, my modest "candle," may burn brightly and be of some value to my fellow citizens here and also to citizens of other lands. Then, the "dark room" may thereby become a bit "lighter."

The theatre, or a Hollywood motion picture film, is designed to please an audience and thereby invite numerous ticket purchasers for cash. A political production, or image presentation, via a purported and well-advertised "platform", is designed to please and attract a larger audience", not for cash, but for votes. If successful, the political entrepreneurs, by means of a few "suggested" legislative bills (loudly proclaimed to be in the public interest, of course) find ways to amply reward themselves and their leading actors. Usually, carefully screened leading "actors" are picked well in advance of election day by a small group, picked for both major parties, thereby reducing the promotional risk to just about zero.

On the political stage, one must be groomed by "backers" to become a "statesman." It is desirable for such a candidate to have great personal ambition and, perchance, to be vulnerable to blackmail for some past occurrences; hence, someone not apt to become too independent in time, but always amenable to "suggestions" on the policy level. Thus, with tact and extended effort, along with amenability, one might become a statesman. In due course, Franklin Roosevelt became a talented, super "Barrymore" on the political stage, as he was quite willing to dabble his toe in the waters of political expediency, even political indiscretion, to secure the carefully muffled applause of his backers.

Freddy Warburg was often available to help me, and many were the hours that we spent together, deep down under 15 Broad Street in the vault! .. One interesting anecdote he described to me took place at the close of World War 1, in November 1918. It seems his uncle, Max Warburg, of Hamburg, Germany, had been one of the Kaiser's top Secret Service men. It was he who arranged for the first sealed train after the Armistice to pass through Germany, carrying to Trotsky in Russia $500,000 in gold. This seemed to me, at the time, to be a lot of gold to send to Trotsky, or to any one man! However, Russia, in my mind, was then far away. Pg. 54-55:

The World-Money managers had figured in mid-1929 it was time to cause a change in the Administration in 1932. They saw to it that "recovery" from the Crash was delayed until after the Inauguration of their candidate, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, in 1933 to make the most profit financially and politically. Even to many amateurs, it was manifest the "drivers" of the Democratic political vehicle did not wish to cooperate with President Hoover to save many banks from failing in late 1932 and early 1933; they wanted the financial mess to deepen in severity, both for beneficial political effect starting on March 4th, and for maximum profits to accrue to insiders, in picking up desirable "pieces" at rock-bottom prices.

Pg. 57-58:

The deceptive overtones of Pearl Harbor, the pro-Soviet peace terms at the close of World War II, the refusal of General Eisenhower to let General Patton conclude a proper military objective and take Berlin, Eisenhower's cruel unheard of forced-repatriation program; the Berlin Corridor Arrangement, Harry Hopkins’ sending abroad to the Soviets our U. S. money plates, paper and ink, for them to rob and fleece us, the tragic matter of Governor Earle (not to stop World War II sooner, to be dealt with later), all these things did not seem proper and were most disturbing to me!

On the other hand, Joe Stalin, aided by his associates and stooges on both sides of the Atlantic, readily succeeded in trading the "pants" off FDR, which means you, good reader, also this country and myself. Stalin, curiously enough, didn't even have to trade hard. The results were clearly just what some Council on Foreign Relations (C.F.R.) advisors, and others, wanted. The plans became a reality, and a wind-fall for the Soviets!

Pg. 67:

I did not foresee also that the Professor (Felix Frankfurter) would be quoted, in due course, as saying, "The real rulers in Washington are invisible, and exercise power from behind the scenes." This startling observation is somewhat a paraphrase of a statement by Benjamin Disraeli, who, in 1844, published his novel, Coningsby, in which occurs the passage, "So you see, my dear Coningsby, the world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes."

Pg. 71:

Long before World War I broke out, Bernard Baruch was an important figure in Wall Street. After World War I, he became a Titan!

By 1914, Bernard Baruch had developed two unusual qualities. First, those of an able financier, a man with an alert, broad vision. Secondly, he was one who had gained the confidence of important world politicians and world money powers. This combination of talents caught the "eye" of world money and the "ear" of world political leaders, those who actually groom and select the candidates for President and Vice President in advance, for both the Republican and Democratic Party slates.

If, perchance, some readers should be startled by that observation, I am most sympathetic with them and their feelings, because I was likewise startled when I first learned about that situation. Then I began to study the matter, which is a subject not appearing in high school or college textbooks, but emerges only from much exploratory work, and placing the pieces together to form a mosaic.

Before World War I, it was said that "Barney" Baruch was worth a million dollars or more. After World War I was over, it was alleged that he was worth about two hundred million dollars, a suitable figure for a Titan.

Pg. 133:

I have often wondered if, as part of a long-range plan, FDR deliberately ignored the possibility and danger of an attack on Pearl Harbor by the approaching massive Japanese Task Force, an attack made on us almost by engraved invitation. He must have! Then, if such were the case, he must have wanted it. Who told him to "want" it? What manner of leadership was that? Had the virus of great power so altered the chemistry and character of the man I was very fond of to such an extent that I could not recognize him?

Who told FDR that a "Pearl Harbor" was necessary? Did he fall for the one-world-despot theory? Was that where he was supposed to come in for Glory?

Pg. 142:

The accounts concerning FDR's death differed considerably.

"I suppose you know what finally happened to FDR there?"

I replied, this time rather firmly, "No, I do not. I've read several different accounts of it." Then I turned my attention to breaking a dinner roll for the addition of some butter, as a diversionary operation.

"Well", she said, "how very extraordinary!" Whereupon she began to tell me some alleged details concerning the distressing incident, as I looked in vain for some relief from my left side. Unfortunately, that lady was deep in conversation with the gentleman on her left.

That recital from her about Warm Springs hit me like a thunderbolt. I began to feel ill, and bluntly said,

"How do you know and where did you hear all these things you are telling me?"

She replied equally firm, "My cousin, Frank Allcorn, was Mayor of Warm Springs at the time; he told me!"

I put down my spoon for good and almost left the table, but decided it would be best for me to sit it out. Dinner was then completely finished for me. Apparently, from what I heard, Henry Morgenthau, Jr., was

there in Warm Springs at the time. What a strange coincidence! I wondered who left Warm Springs in the car with him.

Pg. 143:

The body of FDR, I heard, was taken to Macon, Georgia, where he was cremated. The almost empty casket containing his ashes then travelled north. Small wonder that Joe Stalin, that unfriendly, rugged realist, pointedly commented in the press, "The body did not lie in State!"

I subsequently read some of Doc O'Connors comments, along with those of other writers, on the subject.

Much of it sounded like "canned" material, well polished for a specific political effect.

Pg. 162:

the Admiral said, "Colonel Dall, interestingly enough, or perhaps significantly enough, I had not been long in that Command when an order came through from Washington for me to transfer several capital ships and some auxiliaries, including oilers, for duty in other areas, which reduced my strength about 20%. Then, several months later, in June of 1941, as I recall it, I was ordered to detach and transfer more capital ships. Becoming most disturbed by this time, I went to Washington and protested that order coming from Admiral Stark. I did manage to have the order somewhat modified by him, but I was further weakened—something which puzzled me no end."

I remarked, "Admiral, on that June trip, did you try to see FDR?"

"Yes", was the reply, "I tried, but Roosevelt did not wish to see me."

At my indicated look of surprise, the Admiral continued, "To cap it all, in the late Fall of 1941, not very long before the attack occurred, the Navy Department in Washington ordered my three carriers detached,

sending one to Wake, one to Midway and one back to home waters. So, on December 7, 1941, my fleet was deprived of carrier air strength. General Short had about 12 Army reconnaissance planes, of which only six were in operational condition for extended reconnaissance over water!"

The Admiral then arose and walked slowly about the room to stretch his legs, and continued his startling remarks.

"Colonel Dall, this may further surprise you, but I found out later that the Japanese Task Force approaching Pearl Harbor, had specific orders that if the American Forces at Pearl Harbor became alerted, before the attack was launched, their Task Force was to return, at once, to Japanese waters, without attacking! Hence, to me this explained why much vitally important information contained in the decoded and translated Japanese cables received in Washington was deliberately withheld from the U. S. Commanders at Hawaii, lest the Japs alter their plans to attack under the favorable conditions duly created for them by Washington."

Pg 173:

Interestingly enough it was One World Money, largely, that financed Woodrow Wilson's successful major political safari, and safely delivered him into the White House. Thereafter, he was its "Good Man Friday" and dutifully performed! He was promptly urged to reverse our country's long established Foreign Policy from one of Nationalism and Profit to one of Internationalism and Debt! He was the object of very great foreign pressure to commit this Country to Europe's World War I. Vast war profits amassed by it found their way to the coffers of World Bankers on both sides of that conflict.

Upon returning from the unsuccessful Peace Conference at Versailles, President Wilson stated, "There is a secret force at work in Europe which we were unable to trace." My feeling is that Col. House, his adviser, readily understood and could easily trace it.

Senator McCumber, at a Foreign Relations Committee hearing, Sixty-Sixth Congress, put this question to President Woodrow Wilson: "Do you think if Germany had committed no act of war, or no act of injustice against our citizens, that we would have gotten into this war?"

President Wilson: "I do think so."

Senator McCumber: "You think we would have gotten in anyway?"

President Wilson: "I do."[3]

Wilson dared not falter in paying-off his pre-election commitment to his One-World Banking Sponsors.

What more informative words can we possibly hope for, as to how this country was deliberately maneuvered into World War I, at great cost to us, and great profit to others?

It will be informative to recall that Lenin later said: "The First World War gave us Russia while the Second World War will hand Europe to us."[4]

Could Lenin have known far in advance that General Patton would not be allowed to take Berlin? Could the C.F.R. have planned those matters that far in advance for us to "lose" World War II? Perhaps they did have the blueprint then for the great "no win" policy. So it appears.

Again quoting, "Thru their cunning, this international crowd manipulated the United States into three wars, where we had no business; in which we could gain nothing."

Pg. 190:

A needed public monument for Woodrow Wilson is suggested to mark a most important event in December, 1913, when by an Act, he delivered a mis-informed Congress (meaning you and myself), into the awaiting clutches of the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank group with its powerful Board of Governors, making billions by printing our own money for a very small fee, and then charging us interest on our own credit! (It is an incredibly expensive operation for intelligent people to condone!)

Added public recognition must be accorded to Woodrow Wilson for his unremitting efforts in pushing this country into the intricate pattern of European Wars, to repay a personal pre election political debt, by piling great debt and losses upon his country.

Pg. 190-191:

The distinguished English writer, A. K. Chesterton aptly comments about Global Goals, and I quote from his revealing and brilliant book, "The New Unhappy Lords."

"The final act of Bretton Woods, which gave birth to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, the Dumbarton Oaks Conference which created the United Nations and all its agencies, the Havana Conference which produced the General Agreement in Tariffs and Trade, and many similar assemblies of hand picked functionaries were not incubated by hard-pressed Governments engaged in waging war, but by a Supranational Money Power which could afford to look ahead to the shaping of a post war world that would serve its interest."[13] (Italics mine.)
